My transition from country hillbilly to suburbanite made a major step forward Saturday as my parents, Katie, and I loaded up most of my stuff and moved it to our apartment. The day was higlighted by a luncheon of Taco Bell tacos and burrrrritos at our dining table (acquired from Katie's parents) and nearly knocking down our neighbor with our mattress as she tried to leave her own apartment. Everything was easy to move except for our couch – which all four of us struggled with mightily. The apartment now looks more like a home and we look forward to making it more "comfortable" over the next several weeks.

The countdown continues. It's amazing that when Katie and I got engaged we had 15 months to go until the wedding. Now, we only have 15 days.

The question that people ask most often now is, "Are you nervous?" I'm not nervous, but more eager to see how daily life is about to change. In essence, I'm ready to start a new routine.
